1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
Living in a country as beautiful as The Bahamas, nobody can fight the temptation of going to the beach every week! When i was a child, I would go to Rose Island, an island a few minutes away from New Providence (where I live), by boat. I would snorkel and watch the beautiful sea creatures, while my mother tanned.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
My grandparents' house has been the venue for my entire family, inclusive of my aunts, uncles, and cousins on Sundays! In The Bahamas, it is a known fact that a Bahamian grandmother knows how to cook a mean Sunday dinner! I have always gone to her house to eat, socialize with my family. This tradition is one of my favorites.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
The island on which my ancestors resided just happens to be the amazing Long Island-Bahamas! This name is no misnomer, for this island is surely long! My favourite part of going to Long Island has always been visiting Dean’s Blue Hole, which is the biggest blue hole in the world!
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Oh Christmas.. What a happy time right? That was what I thought when I was seven years old and woke up on Christmas morning. I am a former gymnast. On this merry Christmas day, I decided to venture into some gymnastics skills which I was not quite ready for. I attempted to do a back-flip fractured my right elbow! I went from feeling like Cindy-Lou-Hoo to the Grinch in a matter of seconds!
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
Many people call themselves perfectionists, but I think I give this word a new name! As a child, I have always kept my room organized. When my friends came over to play with the Barbie dolls, they knew that they needed to put the Barbies and the Kens in order in my toy box! I am still a perfectionist.
