Georgia Clark - Miss Teen International 2018
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
New York City is my favorite place on Earth. I have visited NYC nine times, and each trip we find something new to do. I have a passion for Broadway and Lady Gaga, so NYC is the perfect place for me. Lady Gaga grew up in the upper west side, and on my last trip I visited some of her lifetime milestone locations. New York City is my home away from home.
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
One of the funniest family vacation memories is the time my mother got side swiped by a NYC Taxi Cab. My mom decided to try and jaywalk and a cab flew by and my mother rolled all the way down the side of it. Once we figured out she wasn’t hurt, we couldn’t stop laughing about it because things like this always seem to happen to her.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
My goal if I win Miss Teen International 2018 is to continue educating children on the importance of voting. As a soon to be Political Science Major at Troy University, the right to vote is something I truly value in my life. Our privilege to vote is something that has been fought for by many individuals and cannot be taken for granted. This is the reason I have chosen young voter education as my platform.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
Beauty to me comes from your soul, not your appearance. You can be stunning on the outside but if your soul is ugly, that shows throughout your entire being. My Bubba described me with three words in his journal: Fire, Bold and Beauty. He was not describing my outer appearance, he saw the God fearing, strong spirit inside of me. I live by those words and strive to let my inner beauty shine through.
